This quote is from one of my favorite books, Your Best Year Yet.
If you are looking for a good basic self-help guide, this book is excellent.

    Many times Jack and I sit around talking about how this or that should be done in the world...you, solving all the problems out there! But I cringe when I have to try and solve any problems in my own back yard....oh well, I hope someday to have that good knowledge!

    I don't believe in giving people advice. I think each person's life is unique and so advice is futile.

    I love self help books. As a matter of fact, I read one of them before i read a novel.
