Art and Friends

We watched the movie tonight, Lust for Life starring Kirk Douglas.  I love Vincent van Gogh's painting.  I would love to go to the Van Gogh museum.  Van Gogh lived such an incredibly sad tormented life but you have to wonder if his paintings would have been different if his life had been.
He lived an emotional roller coaster and it is heart breaking to think that he never knew how much the world would love his art.

We met a friend of ours this afternoon for coffee.  She and I worked together for a few years but she left a few months ago to work with a non-profit.  The recovery world is so fortunate to have her helping those is need.  She is amazing.  I miss working with her so very much. 

It has been a good weekend.  I hope tomorrow gives you the opportunity to laugh out loud and hug someone you love.  Be kind.
