I think these are a sort of wild aster. It is so strange to see them bloom even after we have had a couple of freezes. There are small patches of them scattered across the farm.
A warm front moving up from the Gulf today and tomorrow, rain all day Thursday and then fall returns.
70 degrees today made the bees go into a feeding frenzy. It is interesting to see how active warm sun makes them and how lethargic they become when it's cold.
I have missed a couple of days work, seems the kids might have shared a little respiratory bug with me on Sunday. Hopefully by Thursday I will be back teaching.
