As we walked the dogs this morning, we realized that we are almost peak fall color. By next weekend it will be fall in all its glory. This morning with azure skies, chilly temps and colors starting to deepen we both were so thankful for the beauty that surrounds us.
Today was a day to do some farm things, feed the bees, water all the indoor plants, plant blueberry bushes, a dwarf maple was transplanted and a couple of crepe myrtles and a gardenia bush were planted. We are both a bit stiff and sore tonight.
Dinner was black bean/ham soup and Rick's glorious cornbread. A great way to end a good day.
I go back to work tomorrow after being off a week. I am feeling much better and hope this crude has decided to leave my body. Be kind, spread joy, laugh out loud...enjoy the beauty where ever you find it.

So pretty. Ours is over and snow coming tomorrow. We did have a great Fall while it lasted! Enjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are finally getting your fall colors. Here most trees are already bare bust some still are holding on to their leaves.
