Blackberries are blooming and blackberry winter came to visit yesterday. It was rainy and cold, in the 50's, down in the 40's last night and again tonight.
Warmer tomorrow.
Last year the blackberries bloomed and then heat and drought hit. There was no crop. Hopefully this year Mother Nature will take pity on the farmer, bless our crops and give us a bountiful harvest of fruits and veggies.

You think 50's are cold...we think 50's are warm and that is what it will be here today. It's sunny so I'm hoping to get out for a walk. This is about the best it gets for us right now.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good crop this year. My blueberry bushes are still under snow. I haven't yet gone in the back of the hedge to check them. I hope they have survived the cold weather.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and well.
