Some days really are diamonds.....Jordan spent the day with Rick and I. He is our great-nephew, he is four and as with all four year olds, he is amazing.
We picked blueberries, we painted, I bought him a bubble gun, we fed and watered all the critters.
We watched his favorite cartoons. I cooked his favorite lunch......baked chicken wrapped in bacon,
new potatoes, corn on the cob, squash, and tomatoes. He LOVES to shuck the corn and he picks every silk from the kernels. He loves to help in the kitchen,
washing the potatoes, the squash, and shucking the corn.
After lunch, he kept thanking me for making his lunch......and then ( my heart melted on this one)
he told me I was his best friend.
As he took his bath, before his Nana came to get him, he told me with his eyes sparkling, "I've had a great day!" So did I.
