cold and rainy and sinus crud does not make for a great Saturday, but I know this too shall pass. A friend who lives in the St. Louis area sent pictures today, almost 8 inches of snow! She said her drive home yesterday from work was iffy. Wild and wacky weather these days. Our rivers are out of their banks and swamps have appeared out of nowhere. I am holding my breath hoping we don't move into drought mode this summer.
Rick's birthday is Tuesday. He told me today I was always sick for his birthday. Not a true statement, but yes for the past couple. Year before last, I was fine until our second day at the beach, I woke up with the flu. I expect to be well by Tuesday.
It's only 7:30, but I swear I am so ready to put on my pj's and drink my tea and climb into bed.
I promise I will stay up until 9:00.
Goodnight, Sweet dreams

"Crud" sounds it all up perfectly. Sleep well.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Rick.
It sounds like way too much rain already and a drought in summer would be too much. You need sunshine and dryer weather but not a drought... I guess you'll have to put that on your vision board.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll have a good sleep.
Get well soon.
Hugs, Julia
